Palmyra-Macedon Conservatory of Dance was founded by Jaime Neiss in 2011. Jaime began dancing at Oceanside Conservatory of Dance in Long Island, NY where she danced in their traveling company by the age of 8. She received numerous awards and performance opportunities for several years under the direction of Tracy Platt. Jaime continued her studies with Vic D'Amore of Long Island, NY who is the former President of Dance Educators of America. For seven summers Jaime received the opportunity to study gymnastics with the 1996 Olympic Bronze Medalists Adrian Ianculescu and Cristian Leric from Romania. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from SUNY Fredonia where she was a principal member of the dance ensemble. At Fredonia she worked with many renowned artists and was an active member of Orchesis Dance Company. Upon graduating she began teaching, and performed professionally for various organizations including Major League Lacrosse, and Oceanspray.  After moving to Rochester, she continued her love for teaching full time. Jaime has always admired the drive, discipline, strong work ethic, and physical achievements of her teachers. She is grateful to have the opportunity to share dance with wonderful people.
